Dog Treat Mix

Making a dog treat mix: things to avoid

Pet dogs do not only love the delights of best dog beds, best collars, excellent veterinarian services, and learning new tricks. In the most essential sense, they are like humans - love to be loved and treated like one.

Quality dog foods are not just the essential needs of the dogs. If you want them to enjoy and savor healthily, why don't you feed them with a dog treat mix? Now, isn't that more than a best treat if you will have a homemade one?

Homemade dog snacks and meals do not take much time to prepare. A lot of them can be grabbed straight from the refrigerator and they are healthier than the baked ones. However in making a homemade dog treat mix, you should consider few things.

No microwave use. If you run your dog treat mix over the microwave, the nutrients, minerals and vitamins are killed. The radiation will also change the food cell structure. Scientific studies found out that humans who consume microwaved foods have disturbing and important changes in blood cells. The use of microwave poses several serious side effects and that includes converting the minerals present in vegetables to cancerous-free radicals.

No broth cubes. A lot of recipes promote the use of chicken or beef bouillon cubes, chicken broth or canned beefs. These kinds of food additive products actually contain an unhealthy and very high level of sodium. As a better alternative, you can use broths that have reduced sodium or you can better prepare your own.

The Use of Flour. One essential ingredient in making biscuits as part of your dog treat mix bag is the flour. They are needed to bind the baked biscuits together. But instead of making use of white flour, cornmeal or wheat flour in your dog treat mix recipe, substitute it with spelt flour. It is easier to digest for animals and humans. Cornmeal and flour are difficult for animal digestion and a lot can of dog breeds have also grain allergies.

Right Feeding. Do not give your pet a lot of baked dog treat mix which contains cornmeal and flour. Choose for healthier, uncooked and more natural dog treats.

You can find heaps or dog treat mix recipes and you can prepare a number of day's worth of it. They are in different categories and cater your dog's needs. Sometimes, your pet are prone to stomach upsets so there are recipes for them that avoids that.

If you are in hurry and looking for a quick-to-grab dog snacks, there are also quick dog treat mix recipes available. You can prepare these dog treats while doing your own dinner at the same time.
